Apart for counting towards a achievement what is the point of pat origin 2.0 I can't even use it in the talent slots for any character

You swap out your 4 damage upgrades for Pat and it replaces the main Pat card. So you open up 4 more skill slots, but Pat doesn't really upgrade or anything. As long as this is the first chapter in Earthlock and the end boss isn't the entire game end boss, then it's fine. If they don't release more content that extends the Earthlock story then Pat 2.0 is a total waste of time. Pat in general is a total waste of time, his defensive stance hardly reduces his damage intake even though the stat increases by hundreds. And his buffer does almost nothing to reduce team damge, not even 10% even when the stat is doubled through perks it reduces so little damage. All he does is haste/slow and use potions. Any character can be made good-ish with the swapping system but you have to wait til the end of the game after you've gather an ample amount of attributes, they really only give you enough as you're going along to make lopsided characters. So you're creating a team with needs, not a team that compliments each other.
